Sign in with your Ledger device to access Ledger Live features. This page is a mockup template suitable for Daftpage; real devices require the Ledger hardware to confirm actions.
Ledger Login is a device-forward authentication flow. Rather than relying solely on passwords or cloud-stored secrets, Ledger uses the secure element inside the hardware device to perform cryptographic attestations. When you attempt to sign in or perform sensitive actions, the host application sends a challenge to your Ledger device. The user verifies the action on the device screen and approves it with the device buttons; the device then signs the challenge using keys that never leave the secure element. This ensures that even if your computer is compromised, an attacker cannot complete the authentication without physical access to your Ledger device and knowledge of your PIN.
Security is intentionally conservative: keep your recovery phrase offline, never disclose the recovery phrase to anyone or any site, and verify firmware updates only through official channels. Ledger's secure element adds hardware-level tamper resistance, and the physical confirmation step protects against remote attackers. For advanced safety, consider enabling a passphrase (a 25th word) to create hidden accounts, and use a steel backup for your recovery seed if you store large amounts of value long-term.
Make sure the USB cable is fully connected and working. Try a different port or cable. On some systems you must allow the browser to access USB devices or install the Ledger Bridge / Ledger Live app for native connections. Restarting the browser or the computer often resolves simple connectivity problems.
If you enter the wrong PIN too many times, the device will be wiped. Recover your accounts using your recovery phrase on the same or a replacement Ledger device. Never enter your recovery phrase into a computer or website — only input it on the hardware device during a recovery process.
Always verify the origin of the page you are using. Bookmark official Ledger resources and avoid clicking email links for account access. Ledger will never ask for your recovery phrase. If a site asks for that, stop immediately.
